  1. [1] 先日、三島村（硫黄島）に行きました。港に向かって建っている銅像です。

    平俊寛、成経、康頼が（硫黄島）へ配流されました翌年、治承２年（1178年）、清盛の娘で高倉天皇に入内していた中宮徳子（とくこ）が懐妊します。安産祈願のための大赦により、丹波少将成経、平判官康頼の二人は赦免（しゃめん）され召還されることになりましたが、俊寛は一人許されませんでした。二人を乗せた船がいよいよ出ようとする際、俊寛は、海水の中に胸まで入り船にとりつき、同行してくれるよう必死の頼みをしますが赦免状をもった使者・丹左衛門慰基康は、俊寛の手を払いのけて一息に船を沖にこぎ出させます。号泣きし、子供のように足摺して頼んだ甲斐もなく、俊寛は只一人残され、茫然として海を眺め、海に佇むばかりだったといわれます。    俊寛銅像（IN硫黄島）     sihimotake 2010/06/02 13:48 *
